Payment page monitoring is required by PCI DSS 6.4.3, which asks you to keep an inventory of every script on your payment page with a written reason for each one, and PCI DSS 11.6.1, which asks you to detect unauthorised change to that page and its headers. Both have applied since 31 March 2025. It watches one domain, it is not a vulnerability scan, and it is not an ASV deliverable. You can also buy it on its own, without a scanning plan. What monitoring does, and what it does not.

Payment page monitoring on its own
You do not need a scanning plan to buy it. On its own, payment page monitoring covers one domain and checks every payment page on that domain every day. You get the dated script inventory PCI DSS 6.4.3 asks for, and the change detection PCI DSS 11.6.1 asks for. No ASV vulnerability scan, no Attestation of Scan Compliance, and no site seal come with it.
